What’s the best BOTOX and Injectables pricing in the Boston Area?

By Catharine Crawford, M.D.

What are Injectables?

Over the last decade, neuromodulators and dermal fillers have become increasingly popular in our society. You can’t turn on the TV, scroll through social media, or flip through a magazine without seeing either an advertisement for injectables such as BOTOX or Juvederm, or (at the very least), a celebrity or model who has had a little work done to maintain their smooth, beautiful skin. These treatments have become a major player in helping patients all over reduce fine lines and wrinkles and achieve a fuller and more rejuvenated facial appearance.

Neuromodulators are a type of injectable that is derived from the botulinum toxin. When used in small, controlled amounts, this toxin safely and effectively paralyzes the muscles that are responsible for those fine lines and deep wrinkles that you stare at in the mirror. Once the muscle is unable to contract, your skin is able to smoothen out and provide you with a face that can look 10 years younger. While there are several wrinkle relaxers available on the market, all of which have their own set of pros and cons, the brand that most people associate with neuromodulators is the ever-popular BOTOX.

Dermal Fillers are another type of injectable that is made of a gel-like substance, most typically Hyaluronic Acid, or HA for short. HA is a substance found in your eyes, joints, and skin that your body naturally produces to help keep your skin flexible, hydrated, and smooth. Hyaluronic acid’s natural structure causes it to act like a scaffold structure you’d see in the construction of a building, which allows tissues to grow, and even promotes collagen and elastin production in your body. When added to certain areas of your face, Dr. Crawford at Prosilience Studio can add fullness to your face in areas that have since begun to sag or lose volume.

Pricing Injectables at Most Medical Practices

One of the most common questions that we receive, and a completely understandable one, is “How much will my Injectable treatment cost”? While it’s generally difficult to provide an EXACT price without discussing your aesthetic goals and which injectable will work best to meet them, the total cost of your treatment is usually determined by the number of product units you will need to reach your goals.

Pricing per unit is the method used by most BOTOX and injectables providers, which oftentimes leads to confusion for a patient as to how much they are paying for one treatment, and a different price altogether the next time they have the procedure done. This pricing confusion happens whether it’s the same provider or a different one.

The Pricing difference at Prosilience Studio

At Prosilience Studio, we decided to make BOTOX and Dermal Filler pricing transparent, predictable, and more user-friendly at our Boston area Medical Spa. Instead of pricing by unit, we price our injectables treatment by the number of AREAS of the face that we treat. That is, if all you want to treat on an ongoing basis are the same two or three areas, you will pay the exact same price each time you come in.

In addition to transparent, fair pricing, we also offer our Boston area BOTOX and filler clients a complimentary two-week touch-up. Two weeks post-treatment, we encourage our patients to come back and see us to determine if we need to add any more injections, complimentary of charge, to make sure our patients receive the absolute best results. With this ideal two-step approach, Dr. Crawford has the freedom to be more deliberate and artistic when applying injections to our patients, compared to potentially over or under injecting during a single visit, like many other medical spas tend to do.

Contact us today to book your next BOTOX and filler appointment with aesthetics expert, Dr. Crawford, and receive transparent, predictable pricing now and in the future.

For reference, here are the most common areas for BOTOX treatments:

  • BOTOX between eyebrows for Frown lines
  • BOTOX for forehead lines
  • Around the eyes (crow’s feet)
  • Under the eyes
  • Around the mouth (to prevent lipstick lines)
  • Chin (to prevent chin dimples)
  • Jaw muscles (to prevent teeth grinding and headaches)

When it comes to Dermal Fillers – like Juvederm – most patients can achieve stunning results with one or two syringes, however, patients who require more volume may require up to three or four syringes.

Here are some of the most commonly treated areas with Dermal Fillers:

  • Volumizing Lips
  • Jawline
  • Temples
  • Nasolabial folds & Marionette Lines
  • Cheeks
  • Forehead

If you find yourself unsatisfied with your results or feel like you still require “a little bit more” after you have come in for your Injectable treatment, the wonderful news is that Prosilience Studio offers COMPLIMENTARY touch-ups for up to two weeks post-treatment!
