My experience treating people with breast cancer has been humbling, and I am continually in awe of the grace, strength, and resilience they show during such a difficult time in their lives. Typically (but not always!) women, I have observed them go through their journeys of diagnosis and treatment while continuing to manage their careers, families, and the other important demands on their time and attention, as if nothing in their lives has changed. The surgical care I provide for these people is only one aspect of caring for them. My hope is that I can also use my training in aesthetic medicine to give them an extra boost of confidence as they get through treatment and move on with their lives. To that end, I have partnered with local breast cancer foundations to volunteer my services to their beneficiaries. Whether it’s minimizing the appearance of scars or getting a glow-up for a special occasion, I am committed to helping them look and feel their best and most confident.
